This morning, I went for a walk.
And it hit me, something I’ve never quite seen so clearly before.
Fifteen summers ago, I got my first paying job…
Not in fashion. I was a lifeguard.
What I knew back then wasn’t sales or styling.
But I did know how to talk to people.
How to keep them calm.
How to read their energy before they even said a word.
I didn’t know it at the time…
But those skills?
They would shape everything I did from that moment forward.

Fashion came later. Fast-paced. High-pressure. Visually stunning.
But beneath it all, what stayed the same was this:
People want to feel seen. Heard. Safe.
Supported in more than just what they wear.
Oceo Luxe was born from that truth. It’s not just a fashion brand. It’s a return to what really matters: Presence. Connection. Nervous system care.
And today, 15 years after that first job, I’m sitting in the same place.
Same view.
Different purpose.
The through line? People still matter most.
