Working in both fashion and construction taught me early on: value isn’t always visible. It’s not about the price tag, the title, or how polished something looks on paper. It’s about how you show up-day after day, in the quiet moments and the chaos.
I’ll never forget the night after a major runway show, when the President of our division stayed late with us-checking samples, fixing last-minute details, making sure every thread was where it needed to be. We had spent days working on the show, the day after the show is arguably more important. When Market Week opens in NYC you learn just how successful (or unsuccessful) that season’s line is. That moment stuck with me. It showed me what it looks like when leadership shows up with you, not just above you.
At the same time, I’ve seen people say “that’s not my job” and walk away from things that clearly needed care. And while boundaries matter (especially in high-pressure industries), there’s a difference between protecting your energy and avoiding responsibility.
What I’ve come to believe is this: value is created in how we choose to participate. How we lead, how we respond, how we support the process—not just the outcome.
That’s the kind of work I care about. And it’s the lens I bring to every project—whether I’m helping a designer prep for production, working with a founder to structure their systems, or supporting a team behind the scenes.
If you’re building something that needs grounded support—someone who sees both the creative vision and the operations that hold it—I’d love to hear from you.
Let’s build with care.
