There was a time I thought productivity meant proving myself, to myself and everyone else around me.
Checking boxes, climbing ladders, staying busy enough to ignore the signals my body was sending, there were a lot of red signs coming through.
And then I was in a car accident.
And then another.
Six months after the second car accident I was diagnosed with epilepsy.
No one talks about the in-between moments—the ones where you’re not in crisis, but you know deep down something needs to change. I lived in those moments for a while. Tired. Disconnected. Quietly trying to keep it all together.
But that’s where the shift started.
I began learning about the nervous system. I changed how I ate, how I moved, how I worked.
I started asking better questions—like:
What’s actually worth my energy?
What’s supporting me, and what’s draining me?
What’s making my life better?
Who do I want to be with?
Eventually, that led me to yoga. Then to Bali.
And somewhere along the way, it also led me to Notion.
Not in a productivity-hack kind of way.
But as a system to hold my ideas, tasks, goals, routines… so I didn’t have to.
It became a quiet container that helped me rebuild—not just my business, but how I live.
Now, I use Notion to manage everything from client projects to daily rituals. It’s how I keep my nervous system calm while running a business I care about. Notion doesn’t do the healing, but it clears the clutter so I can.
If you’re in the in-between right now—burnt out, rebuilding, or just trying to find your footing—I hope you know this:
You don’t need to do it all alone.
Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is slow down and create a system that supports the life you actually want to live.
